Idea
Through a partnership with Amazon Alexa, the NHL will create an interactive experience that captures the cheers of fans watching hockey games from home. The Alexa technology will turn those cheers into points that contribute to various hockey-related causes.
Fans who cheer will be awarded the points accumulated by the entire section
Fans who attend games in the arena can scan their ticket.
The app will recognize all of their game information (i.e. location, teams and what section they are sitting in)
After fans select their overall favourite team (in app), Amazon Prime will send them a complimentary device skin so that they can cheer in style.
